Led development and validation of electrochemical and sensor-based experimental systems, contributing to translational research in biosensing and analytical technologies. Managed day-to-day operations of a multidisciplinary laboratory supporting 20+ researchers, ensuring structured lab workflows, equipment uptime, safety compliance, and documentation integrity. Designed and optimized experimental protocols, improving reproducibility and reducing experimental turnaround time by ~25%. Conducted advanced material and surface characterization (SEM, spectroscopy, electrochemical analysis) to support device performance evaluation. Contributed to early-stage development of electrochemical biosensor platforms within a startup R&D environment, supporting transition from academic research to application-focused validation. Designed and executed prototype testing and performance benchmarking studies, evaluating sensitivity, selectivity, and reproducibility of sensor systems. Conducted parallel validation of 3 aptamer candidates to optimize target binding performance and analytical response characteristics. PhD Researcher

Indian Institute of Technology Delhi, India

Engineered and developed protein-based bioelectronic devices by integrating recombinant biomolecules with electronic platforms for memory and transistor applications. Cloned and overexpressed a target metalloprotein in E. coli, achieving ~50-fold increase in production yield through genetic and expression optimization. Performed active-site metal ion substitution to modulate electronic properties of the protein, enabling tunable device behavior. Applied electrochemical and spectroscopic characterization methods to correlate protein structure and metal coordination. Executed a parallel research project developing a SERS-based sensor platform for rapid bacterial detection. Published 5 peer-reviewed articles and presented findings at international conferences. Co-supervised 6 undergraduate and master's students, strengthening laboratory rigor and interdisciplinary collaboration.
